CrossCountry services are expected to be affected by RMT industrial action on Saturday 1st November 2025. Some routes will have limited service, and others will not operate at all. Customers should check before travelling and expect disruption.
If you already hold a CrossCountry ticket for travel on 1st or 2nd November, you can use it on an alternative date as follows:
| If your ticket is dated | You can travel on | Up to and including |
|---|---|---|
| Saturday 1st or Sunday 2nd November 2025 | Friday 31st October 2025 | Tuesday 4th November 2025 |
This applies to customers travelling wholly with CrossCountry or on journeys to, from or via CrossCountry services, including connections with other train operators.
Please note:
-
Travel should be at the nearest possible time to your original booking.
-
Seat reservations cannot be guaranteed if you travel on another day.
-
Tickets that include travel across or around London (shown with a † symbol) are valid on London Underground and DLR services only on the date shown. If you travel on a different day, you’ll need to pay separately for the Underground or DLR.

TfL services such as London Buses or Trams are not included.
If you’d prefer not to travel, you’re still entitled to request a full refund for your entire booking.
